Huawei, Skylink Sign CDMA2000 Network Contract

Chinese Huawei recently announced it has been awarded a contract to construct a CDMA2000 1x /CDMA2000 1x EV-DO (Evolution-Data Only) network for Skylink, the largest CDMA operator in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which is an alliance of 11 former Soviet Republics. The new network will cover 25 regions and cities in the CIS.
